Cedar Patchouli
This blend provides one of the lightest musky woody aromas as compared to Myrrh Sandalwood and Vetiver Frankincense, this aroma is reminiscent of the bright sunny days outdoor which provides a sedative and calming effect. Additionally, it is a great bug repellent and aids in cough relief. Known as a natural deodorizer, this blend might be useful to help get rid of the undesired odour.
Cedarwood: A woody with a sweet balsamic scent that matures into a drier and woodier oil, Cedarwood is obtained by steam distillation and has a sedative effect and is used in situations associated with anxiety and nervous tension. Because of its astringent and antiseptic properties, it is also often used in hair and skincare for improving oily, dandruff and seborrhea of the scalp. It is also regarded as an excellent insect repellent.
Patchouli: A dark brownish-coloured viscous oil that has an extremely rich, sweet herbaceous and woody balsamic scent profile, this oil is widely used in Asia for incense, insect repellents and perfume. Patchouli has a harmonizing and stabilizing effect on the mind. It is beneficial for those who, due to excessive mental activity and nervous stains to reconnect with their body and sensuality. Pogostone, a constituent found in Patchouli is responsible for the bactericidal actions and thus making Patchouli a useful ingredient in skincare due to its regenerating, disinfecting, moistening and tissue cooling attributes.
